ConsultingWhere Ltd would like to thank everyone who entered their 2017 Christmas competition ‘Name the Locality’. We had lots of correct entries again, just under 90% of you giving the correct answer of the Sphinz Observatory at Jungfraujoch, which is at the top of the ice field feeding the Aletsch Glacier. The Sphinx observatory includes two large laboratories, a weather observation station, a workshop, two terraces for scientific experiments and an astronomical as well as a meteorological cupola. The observatory deck is the second highest in Switzerland and offers views of the Jungfrau, Monch and Eiger peaks, all within a few kilometers.
This years winner is James Williams and his chosen charity is MIND, the mental health charity. James writes; “Mental heath affects us all, directly or indirectly. Having seen first hand the positive effects that Mind UK has had on people’s lives has shown me how worthwhile the work they do is. Creating awareness and providing support for those in need is truly changing people’s lives, and long may their good work continue.”
ConsultingWhere has made a £250 donation to MIND as the winner’s chosen charity.
